What’s Included

Notes 
~ a non-refundable deposit, 10% of total trip value is required upon booking. Full payment is required 2 months prior to departure. 

~ this trip requires minimum 8 hikers to depart and the maximum group size is 16 hikers.  

~ Only book your air ticket to Almaty, Kazakhstan when you have been informed to do so.

~ Should you require a visa to enter Kazakhstan, it is your responsibility to obtain such document before departure. 

~ Arrival group transfer will depart Almaty Airport at 1540 hours on day 1. Departure group transfer will leave for the airport at 2100 hours on day 7. 

~ There will be 3 porters assisting in carrying sleeping tents and other equipment required during camping. The porters will not carry hikers’ personal belonging. 

~ Should you require porter to carry your belonging, you may wish to hire one. The cost is SGD 265 per porter for day 2 and day 3. Each porter can carry up to 25 KG weight. You may share the use of this extra porter with other hikers among the group. Additional porter(s) must be booked at least 1 month before departure.   

~ Horseback riding experience at Kaindy Lake must be booked at least 1 month before departure. The cost is SGD 135 per hiker.  

~ Because hiking requires certain level of cardio and stamina exertion, it is not suitable for participants with chronic and/or acute disease. Please consider your physical condition before booking. Hikers must ensure they are medically and physically able to hike and walk. 

~ All hikers need to be appropriately dressed in the right footwear (covered hiking shoes). Hikers may be denied hiking if not dressed appropriately. 

~ Our utmost priority is always the safety of the hikers. Therefore inclusion of the itinerary may be altered by the Guide due to (not limited to) bad weather, local conditions, accommodation book out, the skill levels of the hikers and/or other unexpected circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to make changes necessary and there will be no refund should you decide to discontinue with the trip. 

~ There is no refund should you wish not to take part in any of the included experiences as per illustrated in the itinerary. 

~ For hikers who is travelling alone and has opt for twin sharing basis, Travel Wander will do our utmost to pair you with another hiker of the same gender to share the room. If this is not possible, hiker is required to top up the difference for a single room. Should you choose not to go on this trip, there is no refund to the deposit paid.  

~ Single hikers taking the single supplement will be given a single room for the hotels and guesthouse, except for camping. You will be required to share a tent for a night during camping.
