2022 Hong Kong Cyclothon FREE Virtual Ride!

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has announced the popular cycling event will make its return in January 2022 with a virtual race category, starting 3rd to 16th January.
The Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon is back with a breathtaking new route and an exciting virtual reality ride experience for cyclists around the world and the participation is FREE. For the first time, the spectacular route will feature the Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge (HZMB).
The complimentary virtual race will recreate the 26-KM actual route of the HZMB (Hong Kong Section). Cyclists from around the world can enjoy an immersive cycling experience by joining the virtual race featuring an animated event route mimicking the unique 26 KM race category. Participation Period: 3 – 16 January, 2022
Equipment Needed:
During the virtual cycle, cyclists can feel the climb, descend, resistance of the route along the animated journey. Cyclists are to use their own training bike stations and join the virtual races directly through the app. You can check your timing and ranking upon completion of the route. Your results will be displayed on the leader board and the top 20 best performing cyclists will receive e-coupons for professional cycling gear as their award after the virtual race finishes.
